September 21, 2010...Riley is TEN years old! A decade worth of memories of my middle man! Riley has a smile that lights up his face! He wins hands down as my most emotional son! He definitely has the most kissable cheeks in our family. I remind him of this every night. When Riley loves someone, he loves them with all of his heart (especially his Mama, I am not braggin', just statin' the truth!) He is stumbling into those tween years making the emotions go up and down even more. Seems like not so long ago, that he was so mean that I cried myself to sleep every night! He started the terrible twos at about 15 months and stayed in them until 40 months. And then all of a sudden, a sweeter than sweet boy stood in the place of my frightening toddler...and he has been the same ever since. Happy Birthday Riley Lance. I love you with all of my heart!

Awww, how sweet! I am so glad you wrote about the terrible 2's turning into 3's. That is sooo Eli rght now. Good to know there is hope, because you have got one sweet 10 year old for sure!
